Using cinnamon and honey to relieve joint pain has proven to be quite effective for some persons. Like all pain relief methods, what works for one person may not work as well for all. However it helps to know what options are available. You may be able to try this technique and get the relief that you have been looking for.

Inflamed joints may result from a wide variety of factors. In younger persons, it is fairly common for joints to ache after vigorous exercise over a period of days. Persons in certain professions, such as teachers, may have pain in joints that they use fairly often.


Writers may develop aches and pains in the wrists and hands. People who stand for long hours may experience pain in the knee joint or in their ankles. Much of this is due to misuse or strain. The body is called on to do a lot more in these situations than the regular person would endure.

As individuals age, they are more likely to have pain in the joints as a result of arthritis. Men and women with arthritis may use honey and cinnamon internally to relieve pain. Make a warm beverage by adding two tablespoons of honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon to a cup of warm water. Drink this in the morning. Repeat the process at lunchtime and at dinner. It should help to alleviate your symptoms.
If you suffer from chronic arthritis you may already be on prescribed medication to address your pain. As with all herbal remedies, you should discuss using honey and cinnamon with your doctor first before you start.

Researchers showed that a significant percentage of the people who consumed a mixture of cinnamon and honey before breakfast for seven days showed a marked decrease in inflammation.  Individuals who had the mixture for a month were able to move around with less stiffness.

It does this by regulating the production of certain hormones in the body. If you don’t get enough sulfur, you can actually develop acne as a result of that.

Onions can be eaten raw or cooked in order for you to benefit from their medicinal benefits. The properties of onions are such that you don’t have to consume them raw if you don’t want to. Unlike tomatoes, which release more of certain nutrients when cooked, onions help the body to fight germs even when they have not been heated.

If you don’t like onions, you may also be able to mask the taste slightly by combining this seasoning with others. For example, if you have onions in soup, the taste won’t be as obvious. However if you are really fond of the flavor, have them raw in salads, such as saltfish salad or add the purple variety to a blend of cabbage, tomatoes and other vegetables.

Protein bars that are relatively soft can be made at home. These are a good source of calories and essential nutrients and by making them at home, you save money. You also avoid preservatives and ingredients that may cause an allergic reaction or hamper the action of medication.

Try to avoid foods that you know contribute to very loose bowels. This may differ from one person to another. Papaya or PawPaw Ointment Softens and Heals Dry, Cracked Lip Corners

Both men and women are likely to have dry, cracked lips at one point or another. An excessively hot climate that lacks moisture can contribute to dry lips. 

If you are in a windy area for a time, this will also make your skin feel less supple after a while. An ointment made from pawpaw can help with this condition.

Dry, cracked lips are usually painful. At the very least, they are uncomfortable. At worst, they make it difficult to concentrate on ordinary tasks, both because of the sensation and the feeling that it negatively affects a person’s appearance. Pawpaw, which is also known as papaya, has been used for many years in Jamaica to quickly heal broken skin and it can help with bruised lips.

How to Get Yourself to Drink More Water for Better Breath and Health

Dry mouth is one of the contributing factors of bad breath. Dry mouth encourages the growth of bacteria that can cause halitosis. Some of us can eliminate dry mouth by simply drinking more water.

However, many people have dry mouth because of underlying medical conditions, medication that they may be taking, and other issues. In this case, your doctor can help you to find alternative medication, treat diseases and conditions that can contribute to dry mouth, and even determine which foods are helping to remove moisture from the buccal cavity.

There are some foods that we eat, such as turkey, that can be particularly dry. These take moisture from the mouth. Ensure that you drink lots of water when having these foods. Don’t rely on wine or sugary drinks to moisten your mouth. These sometimes do more harm than good when it comes to keeping the mouth moist.

Keep a bottle of water with you at all times. You may keep a thermos of cold water with you at your desk or in your car. This eliminates the need for you to get up and go get water from elsewhere when you want it. Make a habit of sipping a little water every thirty minutes or so.

Don’t wait until you feel thirsty. By then, your body is already running low and is sending you a signal that you have to drink some water. You don’t want to reach low levels and feel dehydrated and tired.

If you really don’t like drinking water, try munching on crushed ice. This will also supply your body with water. Regular food, coconut water, water that is lightly flavored with natural fruit juice and fruits that are low in calories all act as sources of water. However nothing beats drinking water.

Making a habit of drinking it at certain times of the day, such as in the morning or at lunchtime, makes it easier for your body to get the water it requires. Also consider substituting water for soda, if you drink that often. You may also have water and fruit juice with your meals, instead of just fruit or fruit juice.
